Cellars Hill Wind Farm

Overview

Working in partnership with local landowners, the Downie family from Dungrove, to develop the Cellars Hill Wind Farm, with potential capacity up to 350 MW located 9 kilometres north of Bothwell, Tasmania. Working also with the consultants on the planning and delivery of the project. In 2025, the project entered a landmark partnership with international infrastructure leader Gamuda, securing long-term development support while upholding the landowner-led and community-first vision of the portfolio. The Project will provide significant community benefits, including power subsidies for households within 10km, direct investment, construction and ongoing jobs, and other local procurement opportunities. On 5 February 2025, The Honourable Felix Ellis MP, Minister for Housing, Planning and Consumer Affairs, declared the Cellars Hill Wind Farm a Major Project.
