Andrew Clark is a highly accomplished project financing and development lawyer with more than 25 years of experience in Asia Pacific, specialising in the renewable energy sector (RES), transport, and infrastructure. Throughout his career, Andrew has gained a deep understanding of the economic drivers for projects in the RES Sectors, as well as how to structure large and innovative projects to attract debt and equity investment.

Experience
Providing strategic advice to Perdaman Chemicals & Fertilisers:
- Karratha Urea Project: The $6 billion Urea Plant to be located on the Burrup Peninsula in Western Australia. It will be Australia’s first world scale urea plant, providing farmers with access to locally manufactured fertiliser, securing Australian agricultural production and the next phase of this project will be to achieve net zero.
- Karratha Solar Project: A proposed 1GW solar project that will be integrated with the Urea Project. Assist in the development of this project through to financial close.
Tasmania – Proposed renewable energy projects:
- Renewable energy hub: Development of a proposed renewable energy hub comprising a 350MW wind farm, 150MW solar power project, pumped hydro project and a potential integrated industrial facilities.
- Strategic goals: Environment/Sustainability, Biodiversity, creating wealth for Tasmania and for the local district, Demonstrate that development can happen synergistically with improved environmental, health and community outcomes
